David Squellati has joined consumer insights platform Disqo as general counsel. Squellati arrives from video conferencing company BlueJeans.

Cannabis retailer MedMen has promoted Tyson Rossi to the role of chief strategy officer. Rossi most recently served as the company’s senior vice president of product and revenue.

Lisa Harris has joined Soundtrack Your Brand as the B2B music streaming platform’s chief marketing officer. Harris joins from The Recording Academy, where she served as chief marketing and innovation officer.

Residential rental software startup RentSpree has appointed Channing Fleetwood as chief marketing officer. Fleetwood previously served as vice president of marketing for software development company Laserfiche.

Davide Petramala has joined real-time applications network Subspace as vice president of sales. Petramala arrives from cloud communications company Avaya, where he served as managing director for its public cloud business unit.

Phonexa, which develops marketing automation software, has appointed Mohd Abbas as vice president of onboarding and client success. Abbas previously served as director of onboarding and customer success at the company.

Cloud native services startup Caylent has hired Randall Hunt as vice president of cloud strategy and solutions. Hunt joins the company from data cloud startup Vendia.

Faith-based social networking platform Pray.com has promoted Max Bard to vice president of content. Bard was previously the company’s director of content.

Pocket.watch, a kids’ entertainment company, has appointed Manuel Torres Port as its head of consumer products licensing. Before Pocket.watch, Torres Port served as chief brand officer for ZAG Entertainment.

Venture capital firm B Capital Group has hired Matt Levinson and Karan Mohla as partners and promoted Adam Seabrook to partner. Levinson was previously with FinTech Collective while Mohla joins from Chiratae Ventures.

Dr. Laurie Leshin has been appointed as the director of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Dr. Leshin will join from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where she serves as president.

Lou Kerner has joined metaverse platform developer Dreamium Labs as part of its advisory board. Kerner is a partner at crypto venture capital firm Blockchain Coinvestors.
