GOCAT Starts Machining Technology Program February 28

    West Plains, Mo. – The Greater Ozarks Center for Advanced Technology, or GOCAT, program in introducing a new class teaching Machining Technology on February 28. The program will prepare students with entry-level skills needed in the automated manufacturing environment. Students will develop advanced skills in setting up and operating machine tools to produce precision parts and develop the required skills in preparation for automated machining.

    This 12 week course will have classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5pm to 8pm at the GOCAT facility located on 395 Jackie D. Garrett Avenue in West Plains. The cost for the class will be $850 and includes all training material.
