BBA:

The career prospects of a BBA student are high depending upon the college from where the student has pursued the course. Also, it will depend upon the soft skills of the candidate. If the candidate has done an internship in some company after BBA, it increases the chances of having an even better career prospect for the candidate.

Job Roles:

B.Com:

Candidates who have pursued B.Com (Honours) can get through several good job roles such as accountant, operations manager, finance analysts, and others.

BBA:Candidates who have pursued the course of BBA can get through job options of research assistant, sales executive, office executive, assistant manager, and others.

B.Com:

Candidates who have pursued just general B.Com may have a starting salary package of Rs. 20K per month. But candidates who have pursued B.Com (Honours) can easily get a starting salary package of Rs. 25k – Rs. 30k per month.

BBA:

BBA students are likely to get a bit lower starting package such as Rs. 15k per month, but this depends upon the company that they are joining and also the college from where they have completed their course. Again, when the BBA student acquires the next level of higher education, the salary package increases too much higher such as Rs. 6lacs per annum or so.

Higher Studies:

B.Com:

A candidate who has completed B.Com can pursue the next level, that is M.Com, or can go for many other higher studies such as Chartered Accountancy, MBA, and others. A student with a B.Com degree has a wide number of options to go for higher education.

BBA:

Students who have completed a BBA course have one specific next level higher education, and that is MBA. Students who take up the course of BBA are actually sure that they will be taking up an MBA course in their higher studies. Also, BBA students have the advantage of taking up an MBA course after this that they already have some knowledge about the topics that will be taught in the first few months of MBA.

B.Com Vs. BBA – Which is Better?

It is hard to compare and say which is better because both of them have their own factors and elements.

While B.Com is a general graduation course for commerce students, BBA is for students who are already sure that they will be progressing towards the field of business management.

Moreover, there are many candidates who first pursue the course of B.Com and then proceed towards the higher education of MBA that is most likely done otherwise by the students who have pursued BBA earlier.

So, whether a candidate should select B.Com or BBA all depends upon the candidate’s inclination towards a subject and their career goals and aims in life.
